Ten Days in Taiwan - See slideshow for an overview

It was my second visit to Taiwan. Unlike the first trip, I did a 6-day package tour that brought my friends and I almost round the entire island. We extended our stay by three more days and I went to Tainan on an overnight trip to visit my friend and I had a great time there. More dedicated posts will follow this one. Lovely photos. Brought back fond memories of my honeymoon in Taiwan back in 1984. Was my first and only visit to Taiwan. Some of the places in your photo are still the same as when I last visited. I think I need to revisit Taiwan. :)

Yes, revisit it at your own time and pace. November to Feb is a good time as it is cool and nice, although cold in some places. Taiwan's weather is rather erratic. It went from cold to hot to cold in a span of ten days that I was there and if you want to see cherry blossoms in Yangmingshan, it should be around February. We were too late to see the Cherry blossoms. With the High Speed Train and the excellent MRT system in Taipei you will have no problem getting around on your own and the Taiwanese people are very helpful when you are in need of directions.
